  1. Lovely locomotives, nice and quiet to drive, ride quality of a mk 3 coach and could pull anything uphill or down dale

  2. DBS are stupid to remove the class 60 from the rails, it nice to see the liverpool coal workings back to cl60 as the 59's struggled with the loads. Why send a class 59 to liverpool to haul 19 wagons when a class 60 was pulling 24??? The latest rumour is that DBS are going to send 25 class 66's to Poland and with the 50? already in europe, what loco's are they going to use to do the heavy work. they have used and abused the class 60 to point of self destruction and haven't repaired them when they break. Fix the class 60's and then they will work the heavy workings like the oil and stone workings like the peak forest traffic.

  4. 60063 & 60094 passing through Rotherham (with 66104) on Friday 22/01/10 southbound light engine.

    60094 my first 60 cop of the year.

Hey C60PG, isaw your stand at BH in August at the diesel event and saw how much you really want to help preserve some of the fleet. being 2 minute's from toton TMD make's me passionate about this group. Some loco's i would like to see preserved is 60001,60040,60081 and 60033. These too me make perfect sense of why these inparticular should be rescued from Toton! =] thanks for the updates over the past months aswell.
